We have been teaching visual thinking and visual literacy to undergraduates in CS171 Visualization. Nicolas Bonneel has joined CNRS in France as a full time researcher. We have replaced him with James Tompkin, who was previously a postdoc at MPI for Informatics in Germany.
N. Bonneel was teaching fellow for Harvard CS171 Visualization and CS205 Computing Foundations for Computational Science. CS171 encompasses perceptual principles and algorithms for image and video visualization, such as visual perception and dimensionality reduction. CS205 includes parallel computation for image and video processing.
