Transform    with pGFP(LVA)

1. Follow electroporation protocol in Appendix A.2 using    and pGFP(LVA)
2. Plate on LB Amp plates and grow overnight on three different plates using these volumes: , , and .

Performed the above protocol twice. The following table shows the number of colonies growing on the plates:

Note: All the colonies did not appear to glow under UV light, so we took 5ml from inoculation performed in next step at put them through FACS. This actually showed high levels of fluorescence, with two peaks. One of the peaks was strongly fluorescent, while the other peak was not. We're assuming that the staining in latter stages will resolve the multiple peaks issue. (also, next time, only take about 1ml for FACS).
