subscription request

Hello,

     I just joined this list soon after purchasing a ThinkPad 760ELD
with 24 meg (as soon as the chips come in), 810 meg harddrive, and
CD-ROM.  I've ordered another 810 meg drive and plan to install Linux
on it.  Has anyone here done this?  What are the correct settings for
XFree-386?  I've found a few web pages with info on running Linux on
the 701 and 750, but none on this model.
