755 (CD) Suspend Problem "Fixed" (maybe)

I haven't done exhaustive tests, but I haven't had a suspend failure (mouse
lockup is main failure mode) after opening and closing my 755CD and swapping
drives about 8 times. This is with an external attached glidepoint, port
replicator, power applied, and 3COM ethernet card installed. I lose my
novell connects but the 3COM card does reestablish TCP/IP fine.

This is using the newer power.exe noted in the previous messages AND setting
the system configuration for APM (under control panel...system...system
devices...advanced power management support...settings) to Enable Power
Management Support with Force APM 1.0 Mode.

Time will tell whether this really fixed things. It used to fail about 1 in
3, so I am assuming no failures in 8 is pretty good.

Have fun...
Thanks
