Michael,

I use the same Sony CD-ROM w/ my 755cx and Dock II. The parts you want
are:

Rail Kit for mounting CD in 1/2 Height Bay,  Part# 85F009
Cost is 11.75 + $4-5.00 for shipping. You have to get it from the IBM
Parts Order Center in Boulder,  800-388-7080.

We just received our new IBM 1.08GB SCSI drives today. price was $305.00
 plus shipping from PC Direct (1-800-426-2968). Part Number is 06H8891.
 They were in stock last week. You will also need the SCSI Device
Installation kit, Part #66G3538. Cost is, I think $65.00, though maybe
more like $105.00. They sent us the wrong installation kit initially so
that's why I am not sure about the price.

Very simple installation, takes about 15 minutes. The installation kit
instructions reference only the Dock I, don't worry, it works fine w/
Dock II. You won't need the SCSI cable provided with the install kit as
your Dock II already has a cable to make the connection.
