AC and Battery Power Management

Hi,

I have a 760ELD, and just starting to learn how to use it.

I have a question on power management. The User's Guide states, to get 
the best out of the lithium ion battery, I should, among other measures, 
not use the machine while it is charging. Now, wouldn't that be 
incovenient, and why can't I use it charging? Similarly, is there any 
problem if I were to use the AC adapter even after the battery has been 
fully charged?
