Re: my thinkpad beefs

I've learned that hard way that sales persons are not always well
versed in the technical spec of what they sell. I have three TP365
with 17" monitors. The resolution, even when set to 640x480 256
color, is blurry. There are no drivers for this monitor using Win95
with the C&T chipset. This stuff was sold as a package with Win95
installed. Too bad the components don't work together. I've even had
to tell an IBM authorized RAM manufacturer the exact specs for his RAM
and that what they were selling in their catalog was incorrect (4k
page SO-DIMM not 1k or 2k).

But Zenith! I have never dealt with more incompetents. Their sales
could not tell me a thing. I was _very_ specific and actually dealt
with tech support when making a purchase to upgrade an older server.
EVERYTHING that was ordered (RAM, SCSI controller, drives) was
incompatible. The problems were escalated to a VP of regional sales
before being resolved!

If anyone has recommendations for the TP365 video driver for the G70
monitor, I'd appreciate them.
