701 accessories

Hi,  I've owned a 701CS for about a month and am looking for
accessories.  Any help would be appreciated.

* Case/Cover

I've looked at the Wetsuit 3.0 which seems to have the right
dimensions, but the 701 isn't on the wetsuit's list of subnotebooks
that fit.  Is there a problem with the expanding keyboard when the
wetsuit is on, or some other problem?  How well does this cover
protect the 701 from impact damage?  I'm also concerned that the
insulating properties of the wetsuit would increase the internal
temperature.

All of the other cases I've been able to look at are taylored for the
larger notebook dimensions.  How important is it for the notebook to
fit snugly inside the case?   Has anyone shelled out the $175 for
the Port case designed for the 701?  Is it worth it?

* Spare Battery

A couple of months ago, someone here posted a question about a
*lithium* battery developed for the 701. If I remember correctly,
there was a short blurb in a recent Byte mag.  Has anyone really
seen one of these?  Any info at all?

* Memory

I've been pricing 701 16 meg dimms and have been found a couple of
suppliers in the $200-225 range, ChipMerchant and Active Components.
Any problem with either of these?
