This may be so, but. . .. I thought that the country you select has to match the DAA
gizmo box that is a part of the cable you use to connect the thinkpad to the phone socket.
My understanding is the mwave software checks the country selected against the country the
DAA is made for.

In the country selection options on my 760CD both Germany and Switzerland are available. :)
