760ED vs Tecra 720CDT

(again, I am actually comparing a 760CD, assuming that it is similar in
these particular respects).

The Tecra has much sharper fall off in brightness to the sides. Head on,
it is comparbly bright (maybe just a shade dimmer), but from the side it
really falls offf fast -- could be a problem for a demo machine.

The Tecra runs MUCH MUCH cooler, it has a fan, but I very rarely hear
the fan on (you can set it to never turn on the fan and slow down the
processor instead for conserving battery power if you want).

The Tecra speakers are impressive looking, but in fact are poorer quality
than the 760CD speakers. Still quite adequate for my purposes.
