Soundcard inside the 750Cs

I have an 750Cs lying around, and I understand that the 
soundcard inside it isn't MWave, but an AD1848 or compatible.

Does anyone know where to get hold of specs/programming 
information for this? I run Linux, and want to incorporate 
it better.
