Linux w/810mb HD

Newer versions of Linux correctly identify the disk geometry, at least
on my 755C installing Slackware 2.2.  I've only used the 340 MB
internal drive, but I've tried two external IDE drives (728 and 1620
MB) and all are recognized correctly.  I'm currently running kernel
1.2.13.

It probably isn't necessary for you to know the geometry in advance if
you are installing a recent version.

   Also, I have an original version of Warp (w/o any of the CSD's applied)  Is
   there anything I need extra to run Warp happily on my 750Cs? besides the
   Thinkpad Features Disk?  Everything I've found seems to pertain to OS/2 2.11
   and the installation I did today seemed to work fine, but i haven't tried
   suspend or anything fancy yet...

All you should need is the "ThinkPad Utility Diskettes", preferably
version 2.00, in order to install the "ThinkPad Features" (I know this
is probably what you meant, but I find it helpful to be precise in
these matters).  The audio, video, and PCMCIA support in Warp works
reasonably well, although I suggest installing fixpak #5 at a minimum,
and the newer video drivers as well:
