RE: new patches

I have installed tppcm130.exe onto a TP750C running DOS/Windows. As the
documentation claims, there is a decrease in the size of the Card Services
(from about 29K to about 26K). Other than that, the changes appear
transparent or cosmetic to me.

The following is from the documentation supplied by IBM (TPPCM130.DOC).

Changed/Fixed Item
 ------------------

DOS/Windows

1.01 IRQ of PCMCIA modem card is not configured as 4(3) even when it
       is configured COM3(COM4).
1.01 Norton Disk Doctor(NDD) causes "Divide overflow" error.
1.30 (New) The DOS Card Service driver becomes smaller.
1.30 Some PCMCIA cards which use the Card Service level mode don't
work. (The DOS Card Service driver doesn't set IRQ as required
on the CS 2.1 level mode.)
1.30 DOS Ethernet connection intermittently fails on long run.

OS2

1.01 PC Card Director sometimes hangs on WARP when it is in ICON view.
1.20 PC Card Director doesn't support "hot-docking" correctly.
1.20 (New) The Card Service supports OS/2 Warp, Resource Manager.
1.20 2400/9600 PCMCIA Modem (Japan only) can't be enabled.
 1.30 5250J/SDLC-J (Japan only) can't be used under OS2 2.1x (and Warp)
1.30 The system with the 'PC/3270 for OS/2' installed hangs when
the multiple 3270 windows are opened then all exit.
1.30 OS2 Ethernet connection intermittently fails on long run.
