Concerning CDW.
   I'd like to give the other side of the coin.  I live near to CDW and have
visited them a number of times in the past few years.  two years ago, I saw
they had a BJ-200 for $179.  I called to confirm the price and the rep told
me absolutely.  They had gotten a great price from Canon and were passing
teh savings on to their customers.  Anyway, I was so excited I drove right
over, grabbed a sales rep, and told him I wanted to buy one.  He was nice
and said "sure."  He rang it up, and asked for my Visa. "the total is
$389.47".  I told him there must be a mistake.  I only wanted ONE.  He said
that was the price on teh BJ200.  I was so frazzled, I didn't know what to
say.  I told him teh phone rep had quoted me a MUCH lower price.  I couldn't
remember exactly how much it was, but I was sure it was under $200.  He
looked shocked, and said that was impossible.  IT HAD NEVER BEEN SOLD FOR A
PRICE EVEN NEAR THAT.  "but because I see you may have gotten conflicting
info, I'll see what I can do"  He sold me teh printer for $210+tax.  On the
way out, still somewhat confused I spied a brochure, and RIGHT ON THE COVER
was teh BJ200 for $179!  I went back to the rep, and he said,"uh, I don't
know.  We don't have anymore of those.  uh, what's the matter?  Look, I
figure you'd be greatful for my giving you such a low price."  First of all
it was obvious he'd lied to me completely about the price, and that it had
never been sold for that price.  As a naive teenager, I shyly left, still
terribly confused.  A week later, my friend went there, with the ad in hand,
and bought another BJ200 from the same rep, and got it for $179!  I went and
complained to the store, and was totally ignored.  CDW has not been a cheery
experience for me.  When the woman posted about the 755s, my admittedly
uninformed first guess, was that they may have gotten them shadily.  I have
no way of supporting such an impression, so I won't stand by it.  Also
everytime I call, the phone rep gives me a guilt-trip for not immediatly
buying whatever product's price I ask for.  I have been very dissatisfied
with CDW.  I just wanted to give the other side.
