Actually, I'm experiencing the same problems with this later version of
AT&T KIT modem. I was wondering if the drivers contained in the new
utilities diskette (which seems to be v1.30) would fix this problem...

Nevertheless, I managed to get the modem responding in both OS/2 and
DOS with the EasyPlay v1.21 drivers. The (dirty) trick consists on
executing the "config" program from the modem diskette with the
adequate parameters (slot number, address, port) BEFORE entering your
communication software. Obviously, under OS/2 you pass through a DOS
window to do this ...

Curiously , once you obtain the "Modem is configured" message from
"config", the modem will respond normally (and from both slots) to any
communication application, regardless if it is OS/2 or DOS, until you
shutdown your system. And, I know, it's a weird behaviour but it
works.

My config :

	TP750C - 340M HD - 8M RAM, OS/2 2.11 & IBM DOS 6.31

and I'm also looking for good prices for 16Mb RAM cards (Europe or US)...

Best ..., Eduardo.
