Let's do it.

Bago

I was born in that old Texas town of El Paso... I speak conversational Spanish, and I love spicy food (the crap they sell in the stores as "hot" is not spicy). OK, I also do rollerblading, ham radio, scuba diving, and recreational shooting. Only the latter is really a Texan thing. I've been identified as "the boogie man in the tree" on several occasions... or something.

Puerto Rico

I've also travelled to cool places. While I didn't have a chance to do much while working on my Ph.D., being a management consultant took taken care of that. As an undergrad, I visited places like Puerto Rico. That's Jesus on the left, my best friend. And Amy is in between us. We're enjoying the refreshing waters and sightly ambiance of a massive Puerto Rican resort pool.

Pop and Anibus

My Mom lives in El Paso and my Dad has sadly passed away. My Mom does lots of volunteer and social work. Even better for me, she makes awesome Mexican food; the real stuff, not anything like the burrito-supreme craplet inside a butyric acid mystery meat taco stuff you get at Taco Hell.

My Dad always kept busy. He wasn't the type to sit around watching TV on weekends. Instead, he'd be busy working on the fixer-upper houses he'd buy and rent out. I'm glad we all inherited his work ethic. I hate paying taxes to supplement those without the drive to succeed

Here's my Dad with Anibus, our 135 lb. dog. Anibus was a smart and loyal dog who would scare the hell out of people when angered.

The Breakers

I have two younger brothers, Ricardo and Raul. Both received S.B.'s in Chemical Engineering from MIT. Yeah, we're an MIT kind of family.

Here, we're in front of The Breakers - the coolest mansion in Newport, Rhode Island. I'd *love* to stay there for a night. I almost had the chance during the McKinsey cultivation weekend, but unfortunately, it was closed until spring.

Car and Cel

Ricardo went on to law school at Stanford and is now lucratively practicing law in Northern California's Bay Area.

I also have an awesome sister-in-law, Celisa. She's an MIT Alum who completed a Ph.D. from Stanford and is now going to law school there. She's from Mission, Texas, down in the valley. Here's Cel with her hubby.

Christine and me

My favorite person, Christine, is from Plainfield, Illinois. We met at Zanzibar, in Boston. I never thought I'd ever meet someone real at a dance club, but hey, she never thought so either.

As Mickey Knox said, "it's fate".

Baby

On August 26, 2002, we had a baby!
