A Sampling of Luis's Most Excellent Adventures

Hawaii

I visited Hawaii one January on a free frequent-flyer airline ticket. I vacationed with Cindy and Liz, two friends of mine from California. This picture is from the big island of Hawaii. A group of us settled down to watch the sunset, accompanied by some nice wine and cheese.

Puerto Rico

I went to Puerto Rico on a $179 round trip ticket (in the 80's). I miss the good ol' days of cheap airline fares! A group of us visited a hotel resort, where we found a huge and elaborate swimming pool. Puerto Rico was great when I was under 21, since the drinking and gambling age is 18 (if they even bother to check). Jesus (left), Amy, and I are all Texans. Cool.

Foliage1

I love going on an annual fall foliage trip with people. You know, the kind of trip where you just drive around all day and go where ever you feel like at the moment.

Foliage1

We were hiking once, when we saw some seriously big, clawed-animal tracks. I was hoping to see the animal that made the tracks. I wasn't afraid of getting nailed by it - I knew I could outrun the others I was with.

Oregon

I've also been to the Oregon coast. It was really breath-taking and clean. No wonder Oregonians are pissed about all the Californians taking over the place.
