I had a similar problem with my 701c where the last 45 minutes went very
fast.  I think what you will find is a weak cell in the battery pack.  You
can try cycling your battery but I found that pack replacement is the only
real fix.

I found from the NIST (National Institutes of Standards) a bunch of
programs and C code fragments that can align your clock from the
Government's time standards.  They have dial-up as well as TCP internet
clients that figure out the network loop delay (pings) and sends you time
corrected info.  The Windows program that I downloaded will even set your
clock for you.  It's supposed to be accurate to within a half a second, at
the outside.  Enjoy...
