By separate order to a mail-order store (I used PC's Compleat), you can
buy  a special cable made by Adaptec, which is a 3-foot, APA-1460 SlimSCSI
to High Density ext. SCSI cable.  Adaptec's part number is ACK-1460. They
charged me $41 plus tax, shipping and handling, or $52.99 total.  For
about $15 less, you can get a converted plug from the low density to the
high density and use the cable that came with the SlimSCSI.  But that is a
very bulky option for a laptop user.
