Actually, I suspect that ED might have done that -- if one could get them! Let me know what you think of the 720CDT. I am loath to get a "non-standard" notebook (we only have Thinkpads now), and I haven't likely the feel of the eraser pointer on the other

I think the eraser on the Tecra720CDT is much better than previous ones. I could in fact
have got an ED but passed it up (Rockwell had several ED's in stock, and offered me
two, but we decided on the Tecras instead -- the ED's have since sold, but they
expect more in soon). The factors that lead us to the Tecra are the higher
resolution, and the somewhat more standard hardware (both the display and
the Mwave are troublesome on the TP for non-standard operating systems). So
it will be interesting to see if we like them when we get to know them
a bit better, so far, they look *very* attractive. I was also influenced
by the fact that the keyboard on my 760CD was really horrible -- I just
got it replaced, so perhaps that was just a singular bad one ...
