re: MWAVE vs. ISP

I've tried turning off the Thinkpad and re-booting and still receive the
error message from my ISP that thinks I'm trying to log on to 2 ports at a
time.  I can only get back on if I telephone my ISP and have them kick me
off their stuck modem.  I found out this was happening because I was away
for a couple of days and came back to hear from my ISP that my account had
been logged on (stuck, actually) for 26 hours.  I assured them that with a
single phone line, you can bet I wouldn't be online for 26 hours straight.
I agree with Joseph that it's their problem, not mine, but have been unable
to convince them of that.
