Huh? What do you mean a scam? I got my 701C last Thursday (with 16 megs and
360 HD) and I love it. I had a ThinkPad 500 for 2 years and trust me color
and sound make a difference... My point is, the 701 is still a laptop. If
you really wanted real mass storage, you shouldn't have gotten a laptop in
the first place. Get a SCSI-based PC and get 9 gig drives for it... As for
my TP, 360 is a little small so I ordered a 720, but that should be
sufficicient for most laptop use...

That's what I use (at home and work) and I love it. If you have the cash you
could spring for the Jaz drive (from Iomega as well)... It cost $599 (for
the external version), but each disk (well more like cartridge) hold 1 gig
and is as fast as today's hard drives...
