ELNK3 problems

I thought I had heard of someone having this problem, so please indulge me. 
 I am working on two different systems right now, a 755CD, and a 755CDV (ok, 
ok they're close enough).  Both are in Docking stations (dockI and II), and 
I am trying to log on through a 3COM Etherlink 3 card.  My problem is that I 
have found that the driver for the MWave Modem, in windows, conflicts with 
the card.  I thought someone had pointed out a BIOS fix, but I am not sure 
if that was with this type of setup or not.

On a releated subject, what is the URL for the BIOS updates for the 
Thinkpads?  I poked around IBM for a while, and I couldn't find it.
