I just received a fax from the local resaler here at UConn, which
they kindly forwarded from IBM.  Its 3 pages of ThinkPad products
which _all_ read "Allocated" or some code for unavailable this
quarter (except for the TP730, a pen based version of the TP750).
Whats with IBM's supply?!  Is demand that great and their
short-sightedness that bad?!

Great products, but the VPs who want these ThinkPads want them now! 
They don't think a full quarter in advance.  I've been told that TP
distribution will change ~July to contracted distributors.  Anything 
has to be better than this mess.
