This silly limit was a DOS problem. Sounds like Microsoft hasn't updated
their chkdsk code so the path variable can handle more than 67 bytes.

Did you get this from your autoexec.bat or from the 'path' command?
Type 'path' at the DOS prompt and it should show you the currently
active path.

Any batch file can add to the path. Heck, you can do it from the
command line with the set command.
