Windows NT on ThinkPad questions...

Hello folks,

I received my MSDN shipment yesterday (Development Library & Development Platform).  I 
was anxious to install Windows NT 3.51 although I was anticipating some problems.

Lo and behold, the install went without a hitch and I quickly got everything running 
(SVGA, TP Support & PCMCIA TokenRing).  Not even Win95 installs this easily on my 
ThinkPad, though it supports all of its hardware.

The only thing I have not figured out yet is: how do I enable my Megahertz XJ2288 
PCMCIA modem?  Under Win95, it's setup as COM1 (with MWave as COM2).

Also does anyone know if there is an email address I can send a message to to become a 
beta tester for NT Mwave drivers?

PS: Does anyone know the difference between the "Retail" and the "Checked" build of 
Windows NT?  Which one should I have used?
