New user on the list

Hi everyone,

I'm new on this list and I would like to take a brief moment to introduce myself. I am a consultant working at Bell Sygma in Montreal, Quebec. I've been working with IBM ThinkPad products for about a year now. I have successively used a TP370C, TP755CX and my latest pet is IBM's TP760CD. I think I'll stick with this one for a while 8-) My TP760C is loaded with 40MB RAM and I have a Token Ring Credit Card Adapter II for accessing our LAN.

I notice this list is for the 750 familly of products. Des the 760CD fit into this list? It has much of the same features as its older brother the 755CD, so I guess it does...

I'm currently running Win95 on my 760CD, but my team is starting work on a Windows NT client-server application. We're going with Visual C++ 4.0 and I have already subscribed to MSDN level 3 membership (MS Back-Office development). Since my TP is going to be my main development workstation, I would like to install NT Workstation 3.51 (or possibly the 4.0 shell-update release beta when it becomes available). Does anybody here run NT on a ThinkPad? What is the level of support? I suppose there are SVGA and PCMCIA drivers already? But what about the enhanced features like Mwave, IR, MPEG2, Enhanced Video, etc.? Does IBM have any plan to develop NT drivers for these features as well?

That's it for now...
