I just phoned the German IBM PC-Direct and they told me I can use the
same DIMM-modules as in, e.g., the 755CE (but I could NOT use DRAM from
a 755CE machine...). It's been my experience that the IBM sales people
normally don't know much about hardware. Is it possible that they changed
something in the 755CX such that you can use DIMM?
