Well,

The virtual screen has about the same properties as some of its X relatives,
apart from the fact that it is hardware based. This limits the screen to
1024x768. When you hit the border it scrolls - very fast.
This works on all kinds of WD90C24, I think...
On the later chip WD90C24a (?) you can have your internal display set at
a virtual desk, with the whole desk at 1024x768 on the external screen.

I really can't remember the exact file that provided this driver - I'll try
to look it up later. (This unix machine can't run the self-extracting files.)

I *think* it was in evtpe120.exe...

Btw, to get the virtual screen, you have to look in the documentation and
then edit your system.ini manually. (Something like VirtualScreen=1024x768).

This is a feature of the chip, but I have not been able to get it to work 
with OS/2. (Probably it won't work with win95 either...)
