Another way to get rid of these files is to boot OS/2 from diskette,
break out to the command line (obviously you don't want to actually
install), and use the OS/2 erase to get rid of these files

  del "ea?data.?sf"

which will certainly work. To boot OS/2 from diskettes, just start
the installation process, and then break out with ESC when it asks
you what you want to do. You will then be at an OS/2 command prompt.
