I believe that there is a port on the 755CE for a(n) mouse/external
keyboard,  but you need a Y-Adapter to connect both a mouse and a keyboard
at the same time.  Sorry, don't have the part number,  but I believe it is
54G0441 (atPC Direct at least).  I ordered the ThinkPad external keyboard w/
integral trackpoint which solves the adapter problem.
