I think IBM is more forthcoming to corporate OS developers with money than to
broke university OS hackers like us.

Did you notice if Solaris supported sound on the Thinkpad?

By the way, if it wasn't for you (Moore), I would have never gotten
Linux up on my Thinkpad. Thanks again, although it you probably don't want to
take credit for other people's suffering (insert smiley here). All in all, its
been well worth the extra effort to maintain Linux on the Thinkpad.
