if you never heard of these kind of markups from OEM quantity purchaes
to quantity 1 end user list prices at a dealer, you just do not know
this industry at all. Such markups, and much larger markups are very
common. In the software area, OEM deals are sometimes discounted as
much as 90%. The same is true for large chip deals. In the case of disks,
providing a multi-year guarantee is in itself very expensive, and markups
of this type are pretty much standard.
