for 755CX, should I ord. IC DRAM or DIMM RAM 16mb?

What is the difference between the 16mb IC DRAM Card, p/n
92G7234 and the 16mb DIMM Memory Module for the Thinkpad
755CX (the pentium thinkpad)?  I gather (guessing) that the
IC DRAM has extra parity checking -- is that the only 
difference?  How about speed?  What do you guys prefer?
