My hunch is it has to do with the smaller read/write heads on the 2.88MB
drive. When I first got my 750 it read nearly all my old 1.44 diskettes.
The few it couldn't read I diskcopy'ed on another machine and it could read
the copies. I also ran across a friend's machine who could read diskettes
written by my TP, but my TP couldn't read diskettes written by that
machine. After my drive died and I had it replaced, it *could* read those
floppies. So I suspect we're playing with really close tolerances here.
If it's a consistent problem, get the 2.88MB drive replaced.
