R4RS

The long-awaited R4RS is available by anonymous ftp from
"altdorf.ai.mit.edu" (internet 18.43.0.246) in the directory
"archive/scheme-reports/".  The document is available in the following
forms:

r4rs.dvi	DVI file
r4rs.ps		PostScript file
r4rs.tar	TAR file of the LaTeX source

There are also compressed (".Z") versions of the above.  In addition
to R4RS, the directory contains files "synclo.*" that describe an
alternate low-level macro facility based on syntactic closures.

R4RS will be published in Lisp Pointers in the near future.  It will
also be available as a technical report from University of Oregon, and
as a memo from the MIT AI Lab.
