Was there any agreement reached on the new name for named let?
John
I guess the answer is no.
Here are some more names to ponder: LET-TAG, LET-MARK, LABEL,
LET-LABEL, LET-REF, LET-NOTE, and LET-NAMED. There were many other
proposals generated quite awhile ago when this subject was last
discussed. Would someone retrieve those suggestions? Search for
LABEL, as I remember I once suggested it near the time the subject was
discussed.

PS. I hope we do not decide this issue based on what can be taught to
first year students. After all, they can do quite well using just
ordinary LET and local DEFINE's.
