Sorry, I do not have any such script.  I am curious as to why you ask
however, as I believe the DXF files we post at floorplans.mit.edu are in
ASCII format.

I believe I've answered your other questions in my previous email. We don't
have any information on building textures, per se.

I'm working with Seth Teller (G-lab) og generating a 3d model of the MIT
campus.
I hope you can answer my questions?

Do you have a script for UNIX that converts binary DXF files to ASCII ?

Where can we get the following information for each building:
  total height?
  floorplan height?
  number of floors?
  extra info: building textures?
