1.
Download the ZIP file:
lapis-1.2.zip (5 MB)

2. Extract all the files from the ZIP file to your hard disk. 
3. Change directory into lapis-1.2.
4. Change directory into bin
5. Run LAPIS.  The exact program to run depends on what platform you're using:

Windows
       Unix/MacOS X
  LAPIS icon
     lapis.exe    

   
  lapis


LAPIS may take a moment to load. If nothing happens, or you get an error message like "can't find class", then you may need to install a newer version of Java. LAPIS is open source. The source code is included with the download, in lapis-1.2/src.zip.
