Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Inc., was incorporated on March 23, 1993 as a Massachusetts charitable corporation with the following legal purpose:

``To advance worldwide scientific and public understanding of principles and methods for representing knowledge in forms suitable for manipulation by computational reasoning mechanisms, understanding the nature of human intelligence, and building artificial intelligence systems, by sponsoring international conferences and seminars, and publishing and distributing papers, books, articles, journals, newsletters and information, and to endorse and/or license products in connection with the educational purposes of the corporation.''
The officers of the corporation for legal purposes are:
