Milos Hauskrecht

I finished my PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in August 1997. Currently, I am a postdoc in the Computer Science Department at the Brown University working with professor Eli Upfal . I also collaborate with Thomas Dean and Leslie Kaelbling. My primary research interest is in the field of Artificial intelligence.

At MIT I am affiliated with the Clinical Decision Making Group (MEDG), MIT Laboratory for Computer Science, where I worked during my PhD study under the supervision of Prof. Peter Szolovits .

• Planning and control under uncertainty (MDPs and POMDPs)
• Probabilistic reasoning
• Machine learning
• Applications of AI in medicine and finance
