these are a few pictures of my grandma porcia, who passed away on nov 3, 2003 at the age of 88.

i started scanning some of her old photos for her memorial service artwork, and decided putting them up here seemed appropriate.

rest in peace grandma, i love you.

this is her at around 18 years of age, i'm guessing. portrait was taken in the early 30's.

stroll

this is my grandmother and grandfather on july 3rd 1938, while they were dating, taking a very casual stroll down the street. i love this picture - it's so spontaneous, and my grandpa looks so happy. they married a year later, in 1939 shortly before ww2 began.

this is their wedding portait, may 23rd 1939.

here is my grandma and my dad at my sister's wedding, september 27th 2003. she died a little over a month later.
