In order to score health states,
....the task then is to get ordered nominal scales (complete list)...
... get the values associated with the levels of the scale...
... recombine them in order to score a given state of health
So how do we get a complete, comprehensive, operational list of attribute scales?
Start with a “conversation” to acquire the vocabulary
... a properly structured elicitation produces suitable scales
1- use George Kelly’s triad elicitation to get a set of ordered qualitative values or to be more consistent, “scales with levels”
2- extremes verified - my addition
3- standard gamble assessment of values associated- my application
