Classification Tree: Definition
A classification tree is a representation
- of links and nodes
- where links are called branches
- the node with no parent = root node
- nodes without children = leaf nodes
- each node is connected to a set of possible answers
- each nonleaf node is connected to a test that splits the cases into subsets corresponding to different test results
