I am interested in engineering and scientific computing, parallel distributed systems, networks of workstations, numerical methods, fluid dynamics, flow acoustics.
My current work is on distributed simulation systems on non-dedicated workstations, and on practical problems in fluid dynamics. I have developed a prototype distributed simulation system on a cluster of non-dedicated workstations, and I have applied it to simulate the flow of air in wind instruments using the model of compressible Navier Stokes equations.
In the past, I have worked on ordinary differential equations for integrating the orbits of planets, on simulations of microscopic systems of gas molecules to study issues of Thermodynamics, on digital signal processing, and other projects.
