Download and installation instructions for Windows We distribute Scheme 48 as a Windows Installer file, which should work on Windows NT 4.0 and above (including Windows 2000 and XP, but not Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows ME). At this time, the port is considered experimental. The Windows Installer file requires Windows Installer version 2.0 or greater to work. The standard source distribution also contains the files necessary to build the system on Windows. Here are some simplified download and installation instructions.
