EDITORIAL NOTICE
This issue (volume 83, number 1) marks the beginning of a new era for Psyche.
During the 102 years of its existence, the journal has been printed by some form of letterpress, starting with hand-set type, followed by Monotype and finally Linotype. Dramatic improvements in recent years in photo-offset lithography, combined with the diffi- culty of maintenance of letterpress equipment, have led the Editorial Board of Psyche to adopt offset printing for the journal. The Lex- ington Press, in the Town of Lexington, Massachusetts, will con- tinue to be our printer, as it has for the past 17 years. The new type of the Psyche text is set on a phototypesetter in Times Roman [lo on 12 and 8 on 101.
