DR. CHRISTOFFER AVRIVILLIUS has been

DR. 0. KRANCHER, of the Zoologisches In- stitut, Leipzig, Germany, wishes to exchange lepidoptera (including inflated larvae) and coleoptera of Germany (especially of Saxony) for those of other lands.
ARTHUR GARDINER BUTLER has been ap-
pointed assistant keeper at the British Mu- seum, as the succsssor of Frederick Smith, deceased-Zoologhcher Awetger, 35 April

GABRIEL KOCH, an esteemed entomologist,
