RE: TP MWAVE and NT Fax preview 2

IBM's doc file for installing NT 4.0 on Thinkpads mentions that the MWAVE driver is currently Class 2 compliant only. NT Personal Fax only supports Class One......

Get the file at: ftp://204.146.167.81/pub/pccbbs/mobiles/tpwint40.txt and take a look at "2.1.8.2 Tips for Mwave/DSP Feature program"

Thanks for the reply ... but doesn't help. My Mwave system is working under
NT. The Unimodem driver is installed, I'm using it for RAS connection ... no
problem with it. When I installed the NT fax preview version 2 from
Micro$osft, the corresponding setup doesn't recognize the Mwave system as a
class 1 fax device. There is no 'manual' way to override this. The setup
simply says 'No class 1 fax detected' ... bye,bye that's all folks. Then I
had a look on IBM docs ... no mention about the fact that Mwave is or is not
class 1 or class 2 compliant.
So, does anyone know how to recognize a class 1 fax system i.e. what are the
correponding AT commands? Or if someone has installed a fax utility software
on a Mwave ThinkPad system, under which category the Mwave fax is recognized?
