Has anyone had any luck installing the video features diskette (version
1.10, dated 10/3/96, instructions dated August 16, 1996) for Windows 95
on a Thinkpad 760CD? Installation instructions for the same say that one
of the following entries should appear in the Display Control Panel
after you click on the "Have Disk..." button:
Cyber9385 for the enhanced video model
Cyber9320 for the standard video model
But I do not get either of these entries. Instead, I get the following:
Cyber 9320 VL, and
Cyber 9385/82 VL
I have tried both, but they both end up screwing up my display. I have
to switch back to Trident Super VGA to get the display to work.
Under Trident SuperVGA, however, I can get at most 256 colors. But I
want to be able to get more. Am I doing something wrong while installing
the video features diskette?
Any pointers/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
